The Associated Students Coastal Fund (formally the Shoreline Preservation Fund), a student initiated funding entity, provides support to enhance, protect and restore the shoreline associated with UCSB through preservation, education, open access, research, and restoration.

COASTAL SERVICE PROGRAM

This program is a fundraiser open to UCSB student organizations. Get paid up to $250 to participate in beach and street clean ups, restoration, or tree planting. It's easy and fun!! More info or to sign up

JOB OPENINGS AND INTERNSHIPS SPRING 2008

The Coastal Fund as a variety of exciting paid internships and job openings with local environmental groups that have received SPF funding. Check Listing.

COASTAL STEWARDSHIP SCHOLARSHIP

The Coastal Fund seeks to support the next generation of leaders by providing funds to eligible undergraduate students who are poised to make a significant contribution to the field of coastal conservation. This competitive award aims to promote innovative self-directed research or field study that responds to pressing coastal conservation issues. More info

$87,8450.50 FUNDED FALL 2007

The Coastal Fund received a total of 17 applications requesting $101,750 Fall quarter. With the passage of the Students Initiative, the student Baord of Directors were able to award a total of $87,840 to qulity projects.
